Meatball Sub
Prep: 15 minutes Cook: 70 minutes
Makes about 33 meatballs
1 lb 85% lean ground beef
1 cup basmati rice
1 tsp salt
dash pepper
1/2 tsp sage
1/2 tsp basil
1/2 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp minced garlic
SAUCE:
1 can Hunt's® tomato sauce
2 tbsp light brown sugar
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 cup water
- Combine meat, rice, and spices. Mix well. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.
- Move meatballs to sauce pan. Add tomato sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and water. Bring to a boil, then turn down to MED-LO. Simmer for 40 minutes.
- Served on an Amoroso® club roll.
